In 2016, the packaging for Browning products created a fractured, incongruous, and disjointed branding identity for retail products. I was tasked with updating and monitoring the entire line of Browning product packaging to create a cohesive and consistent corporate look across all divisions and categories, including licensees.

 

To accomplish this, I created style guides and a packaging print specifications card to be sent directly to printers, as well as custom illustrations that show product features in stick-and-string diagrams. I collaborated with global vendors to ensure that packaging was printed to specifications and utilized approved Pantone colors, resulting in more consistent printing results.

Because Browning sells products in Quebec, all packaging designs must include information in English and French. I maintained a database of text used on packaging in English and French to reduce the cost of translation.
